The Ancient House
The House, also called Casa del Pilato (Pilate's House), was built in the second half of the 13th century and represents one of the oldest residences of the noble Palletta family.
Despite the numerous renovations, the building still maintains traces of the original Gothic structure: Old terracotta and sandstone windows, and the pointed arch structure of the entrance door.
The Palletta Family
The Palletta family was one of the most important families from Asti, whose wealth came both from commercial activities and the loan of pawn money.
