Baroque church of the eighteenth century

Headquarters of the Diavolo Rosso (Red Devil) cultural association

Former Chiesa di San Michele (Church of Saint Michael)

The church of the former Confraternita di San Michele (Confraternity of Saint Michael) was built in the first half of the eighteenth century.
The modest-sized structure is characterized by a single nave plan and side chapels.
Another characteristic element is the Baroque style facade, finely decorated with holy images. The central frieze depicting the archangel Michelangelo, above the central door, is of particular note.

Diavolo Rosso (Red Devil)

Il Diavolo Rosso is a place managed by the Ottolenghi Summer association, dedicated to the creation of inclusive artistic and cultural experiences, located in the splendid setting of the former Chiesa di San Michele (Church of Saint Michael).
Il Diavolo Rosso was established with the aim of being an engaging cultural participation place in the city of Asti.
